We headed to Smithfield to spend a weekend at my parents house. This has become an annual tradition where all my Dad's brothers and sisters come home to visit. The children for the most part spend the day on the enormous waterslide that mom and dad rent every year. Saturday morning includes fishing down at Uncle Zeb's homestead now Ann and Bryan's. Lunch includes red hotdogs and homemade ice cream using hand cranked machines that the kids take turn sitting on while the adults churn the handle. Dinner is normally followed by a campfire and smores but we got rained out this year. The headcount for dinner was 43 people inside mom and dad's house but hey we're family right! Charlotte got to meet all her cousins on that side and a good time was had by all! We tried Charlotte in the jogging stroller and she still is a little small. The outfit in this picture was a vintage piece from my childhood that Heather and I wore too.
